A Post Graduate Diploma in Political Science and Governance is a one-year postgraduate programme for students interested in understanding how politics and governance shape societies at local, national, and global levels. Students gain advanced knowledge and understanding about political and governance systems, public policies and relations of India with other countries.
The online PG diploma course in India offers diverse topics such as political theory, Indian and comparative politics, public administration, constitutional studies, governance and public policy, international relations and development studies. Along with the above, the course also touches upon concepts like good governance, transparency, accountability, decentralisation and citizen participation.
Students gain skills to evaluate political institutions, government performance, and policy outcomes. This makes the program relevant to current administrative and political challenges.
The online method of delivery provides flexibility to the students with the entire course, including lectures, assignments and exams being accessible through the university's online Learning Management System (LMS).
